Production
What is of the most importance with the production of natural dog and cat food; is the quality of the ingredients used.
All Frank's Pro Gold recipes are produced in the
Netherlands in one of the most modern production facilities.
The production starts with the mixing of the ingredients. Many different ingredients are processed. At the backside of the packaging all the ingredients used are mentioned. We absolutely do NOT use wheat (gluten allergy), pork or soya and all our products are FREE from undiluted grains, making them easily digestible for the dog and cat. All ingredients used for the production of Frank's Pro Gold are of natural origin.
After the ingredients are mixed, they are prepared and pre-cooked. The meat (protein) is added after precooking to perserve its nutritional value. After the meat is added, all ingredients are mixed once more before the extrusion process begins.
During extrusion the kibbles of dog and cat food are established, when extrusion is finished the kibbles will be dried. The vitamins and minerals are added after the extrusion, the values ​​of the vitamins and minerals are optimally preserved ensuring the palatability and tastiness of the food.

Finally the kibbles are cooled before they are packed in the Frank's Pro Gold bags and will be shipped to our warehouses.
